FC Augsburg will not bid farewell to any player in the final game of the season on Saturday. But that doesn’t mean everyone will stay at the club.

Augsburg FC may be going through turbulent days and weeks. The most important question answered: The FCA remains a top-tier team, so the sporting significance of the final game against Greuther Fürth (Saturday, 3.30pm) fluctuates somewhere between fun Sunday kicks and evening sports with the family. So everything can be ready for a relaxing afternoon. The stadium will be full, the sun will rise and free beer will be served. However, there is a lot of uncertainty hanging over the WWK Arena. Even more so since Friday evening, when Klaus Hoffmann resigned from all his posts for health reasons. Not everything is clear about FC Augsburg.
