Ascension weekend is Black Sunday announced by Bison Foote

The whole of France is classified as black due to traffic congestion associated with weekend earnings.

  • Avoid the A7 motorway between Orange and Lyon from 8am to 8pm and between Marseille and Orange from 10am to 8pm.
  • Between Fréjus and Aix-en-Provence, avoid the A8 Highway from 10am to 8pm.
  • Avoid the A9 between 11am and 7pm between Norfolk and Orange and between 10am and 6pm between Berbignon and Norfolk.
  • From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., bypass the A20 Highway between Prive-La-Gillard and Vearson.
  • Avoid the A71 Highway between Borges and Orleans from 12 noon to 6 p.m.
  • Avoid the A75 highway between Lodov and Millau from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Avoid returning to France via the Mont-Blanc Tunnel (N205) between 11am and 8am, between Norfolk and Carcassonne.
