A video that has gone viral on social media shows a line of holidaymakers with backpacks and bags on their heads walking through the water. Just before the video starts, these tourists are allowed to exit through the back door of the ferry. This is a situation that some tourists have described as “unacceptable”, one of whom spoke to the local newspaper Zarbanios “Most of the people stayed on the ship out of fear,” he says. “Only forty of them got off, but they came back very angry and disappointed.”

Until recently, the ferry that carried thousands of tourists to the dream beach of Balos arrived at the beach every day.
