Bayer fills the gaps in the team

Leverkusen Piero Hincape comes from California Talleris and Robert Andrich from Union Berlin. This means that Bayer Leverkusen is in a broader position for the upcoming triple exposure. Is there anything else in the attack?
Their names have haunted the Werkself team for weeks, and now Bayer 04 has confirmed the transfer of Piero Hincapié (CA Talleres) and Robert Andrich (Union Berlin). Rheinlander is paying around eight million euros for 19-year-old defensive talent Hinkapi, 26-year-old midfielder Andreich for around four million euros. Both professionals will receive a contract until 2026. This will fill the first holes in the Werkself team.
On Sunday, the Ecuadorean Hincape was subject to the mandatory medical examination at Leverkusen, after which the change of center back was completed. In the Copa America, the 1.84-meter defensive man caused a stir. After making a strong appearance with his country’s national team, he is considered the most valuable defensive talent in South America.
“Of course we’ve been watching him for a long time,” sports director Simon Rolfes said. “His very good performance against world-class players in the major continental championship in South America confirmed our assessment that Piero has a very promising future.”
The transition from Robert Andrich has also been fixed. The midfielder is coming from Union Berlin to Rheinland. He is no longer already in coach Urs Fischer’s squad for Bayer’s guest appearance at Köpnik (1:1). The Swiss said after the match that Andreich was slightly injured, and FA Sports Director Oliver Rohnert said before kick-off that he could not rule out a link between the 26-year-old and a possible move to Leverkusen. Andreich’s contract in Berlin was due to expire after this season. Born in Potsdam, Werkself will boost Werkself, who will have several English weeks ahead this year at the latest with the Europa League kicking off in September. Last season showed how quickly staff are scarce.
Andreich regards his move to Bayer Kroos as “a first-class opportunity to prove myself once again at a top German club and take another development step personally.” That is why he was so happy and impressed “how hard the club is competing for him. You have to get me now and not in a year. I want and will definitely restore this confidence in my abilities.”
There are still two gaps in the Werkself team. Bayer is thin at right-back. Timothy Fosu-Mensah is still suffering the consequences of a cruciate ligament rupture, and Mitchell Weiser is considered to have no odds. The question of how Bayer wants to absorb Leon Bailey’s loss is also open. The pre-season top scorer is now looking for goals for Aston Villa. As a winger, coach Gerardo Siwan is only available to Moussa Diaby, Paulinho and Karim Belarbi who currently have a thigh muscle tear.
In front of Rolfes and Fuller until August 31. Then the transition phase ends in Germany.
