Early customers will receive the Loyal Dog Costume armor exclusive to the Palamutes collection, along with the Palicos’ striped layered armor. In the meantime, the expansion itself will take you to a new land across the ocean to face a host of new enemies – along with some returning favorites from across the Monster Hunter franchise.
Aside from a new place and big monsters to hunt, Sunbreak brings a host of new tricks to the Wirebug, along with new abilities for all 14 types of weapons. You’ll also encounter a variety of new faces in the Elgado Outpost, many of which will join you on your adventures.
Monster Hunter Rise is required to play Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. If you missed the action when it first launched, Green Man Gaming is currently serving Basic game for only $33, down from $60. Like its expansion, this is being offered as a Steam Key – and we’re not sure how long the discount will last. While Nintendo Switch pre-orders for the upcoming expansion aren’t on sale, you can Choose the base game on Amazon for $33 like that.
