FC Dallas dominated the entire Texas showdown against Austin FC on Sunday at Q2 Stadium, which they eventually won 5-3.

Jesus Ferreira and Ricardo Pepe were tough on the home side’s defence. Since the fifth minute of play, the first took advantage of a period of the second to open the scoring. Then, while the score was 1 to 1, Pepe also rocked the ropes for the first time in the duel, in the 36th minute. Two minutes later, Ferreira completed his double. Two more minutes later, it was Pepe’s turn to score his second success, making it 4-1 for FC Dallas in the first half.

On their return to the field, the visitors truly decided the outcome of the match, shaking the ropes for the fifth time, through Jader O’Brien, in the 53rd minute.

It was Julio Cascante who scored the home team’s first goal in the first half, while Diego Vagondes and Alexandre Ring scored the other goals for his team, returning from the break.

In Vancouver, the White Caps were tough against Real Salt Lake, who won 4-1.

The host team scored the first four goals in the match. The first was scored against his team, by Marcelo Silva, the only success in the first half.

Upon their return to the field, the White Caps exploded with three goals in 16 minutes. Brian White got the ball in the 53rd minute. Ryan Gould gave his team a three-goal lead after 11 minutes, while Florian Jungwirth finished the push in the 69th minute.
