The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE was supposed to arrive this year; However, Samsung has postponed the launch to next year. Now, rumors are that the phone will go official at the Samsung Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2022 event scheduled for January 4, 2022.
The event will begin on January 4 at 6:30 PM PT (8 AM PT on January 5). However, Samsung has not yet confirmed the launch date of the Galaxy S21 FE.
A lot of rumors have been circulating about the smartphone over the past few months and now it is on the cusp of its launch. Although the previous leak mentioned that there will be a change in the camera specifications, the new leak reveals the full specifications and the image says that it will keep the telephoto camera.

In terms of design, the Galaxy S21 FE will have a flat screen and slimmer bezels all around. There will be a punch hole in the middle to house a 32MP front-facing selfie camera.
The Galaxy S21 FE is said to have a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a built-in fingerprint reader. The screen will have a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The front panel of the device will be covered with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
The rear camera system will have a 12MP main sensor, an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom, and a 12MP wide sensor.
It is expected to arrive in two variants; 6 GB RAM with 128 GB internal storage and 8 GB RAM with 256 GB internal storage. The affordable Samsung premium smartphone is said to come with Android 11-based One UI 3.0 operating system next year, which will then be updated to Android 12.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, however, the company may release the Exynos 2100 version in some markets, just like other phones in the S21 series. In addition, the Galaxy S21 FE will offer dual SIM with eSIM, WiFi 6 and NFC support, and it will also be IPX68 water and dust resistant.
Samsung is said to have equipped the phone with a 4,500mAh battery that supports its own reverse wireless charging technology. It will come with support for 25W fast charging. Color options are said to include graphite, lavender, olive green, and white.
As for the different connectivity options, the Galaxy S21 FE will support 5G SA/NSA, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS + GLONASS, USB 3.1, and NFC.
The sensors on the smartphone are said to include the accelerometer, in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, face unlock sensor, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, light sensor, and virtual proximity sensor.
