Sony discontinued PS Plus games in August early! • Eurogamer.de

There are arena battles, tennis and zombies

PS Plus games are usually announced with little fanfare on the Playstation blog, but this time Sony has apparently leaked titles for August beforehand. The next three titles have already been listed on the website before the main reveal, and there are arenas, zombie and tennis fights.

far away 3rd of August Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, Tennis World Tour 2, and Hunter’s Arena: Legends will be available starting August 3, PS Plus subscription. This was indicated by an entry on the Playstation page.

Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville is a shooting game of the 2019 series that started with the famous Tower Defense front garden battles between the undead and plants. Everything is developed by PopCap Games and published by EA.

Arena
Hunter’s Arena: Legends is one title, but exclusive to PS5

If you want things to be a little less exotic and more civilized, you can use Tennis World Tour 2 instead in the virtual sports field to compete against some of the world’s players. Sports simulations from Big Ant Studios and Nacon didn’t necessarily get many positive reviews for the 2020 version, the game seems to lack fine tuning – but as part of the subscription, it doesn’t hurt to try it out.

Third, there’s Hunter’s Arena: Legends, a fantasy battle royale game that was previously only available for PC. However, on August 3, it will also be available on Playstation and PS Plus subscription. Not a huge surprise, because Sony has already announced it. However, this multiplayer title is only included in the subscription to Playstation 5.

Well, PS Plus games may have been more productive this past month with A Plague Tale: Innocence, WWE 2K Battlegrounds, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, but who knows: maybe you’ve been waiting for these three titles in August? In any case, Sony doesn’t seem to have quite as much success in August as Hunter’s Arena: Legends does on console, but that remains to be seen.
