Domestic Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc was ten seconds faster than teammate Carlos Sainz (ESP) in his second training session. We’ll be broadcasting the qualifiers on Saturday and the race in Monaco on Sunday live on SRF Zwei and the SRF Sport app.

Leclerc never again pointed out the upward trend of Scuderia Ferrari with his best time. He showed a strong reaction to his misfortune at the first training session, which was already over after eight minutes. The gearbox wear and tear cost him precious time to set up.

The 9th and 11th places for Alfa Romeo

Alfa Romeo drivers – Antonio Giovinazzi and Kimi Raikkonen – finished ninth and eleventh, which makes us confident of Saturday’s qualifiers. On the track in Monte Carlo, where overtaking is practically impossible, forward starting positions are necessary to achieve a good race result.
