Since 2021 is soon gone, Instagram is releasing “Playback” (“Get your back” in French), a new feature available in Stories. It allows the user to share up to 10 highlights of the past year from their archives.
To use Run, it’s simple. There are two options. Or, by opening Instagram, you’ll see a message at the top of your News Feed to create your retrospective gallery for 2021. If that message doesn’t show up, you can also click on the “2021” sticker in other users’ Stories reviews.
If you want to try out the feature, don’t wait. The retrospective gallery will only be available for a few weeks, depending on the application. However, Instagram has not reported a specific end date for the ‘playback’ functionality.
The launch of this feature comes shortly after Instagram announced that the timeline feed is finally back.
