Boston joined Miami in the Eastern Conference Finals for the North American Basketball Association, after defeating Milwaukee 81-109 in the deciding Group G of the semifinals on Sunday.
With a five-point lead at rest (48-43), Boston sped up in the third quarter, winning 31-21, to go up 15 points before the final quarter (79-64). The last 12 minutes remained for Boston, who finally won 81-109 to go down to the conference final and send the defending champions on vacation. Despite his missteps, Jayson Tatum put in 23 points while Grant Williams was the X factor in the game with 27 points. On the Bucks side, Giannis Antikonmo missed accuracy despite scoring 25 points, 20 rebounds and 9 assists. Jrue Holiday added 21 units. In the final of the conference, the Celtics will meet with Miami, which toppled Philadelphia in the semi-finals (4-2).
