If you use WhatsApp Web to chat with your friends from a computer, you must have noticed that the instant messaging system has just received an update that allows you to continue using it even if you Telephone Off or Offline Internet.
This is the “Multi-device mode”, a new functionality that has been tested for a few months and is now gradually reaching all WhatsApp users. Although it was highly anticipated by users, the truth is that it presented many flaws.

As explained by Xataka, users who are already using the new multi-device mode have noticed that when they enter WhatsApp Web on their desktop or laptop computer, messages load very slow and the entire chat history is not included.
According to the publication, the main victims are WhatsApp Web users who have a history full of chats, photos, videos and voice notes, among other types of files, which will take a long time to load on your computer.
Fortunately, there is a trick that allows you to go back to the old WhatsApp Web, that is, when the platform was synced with your smartphone, Android or iPhone, which had to be turned on and connected to the Internet.

Keep in mind that not all users will be able to go back to the old WhatsApp Web, since Multi-Device Mode is here to stay. If you want to deactivate it, you will just have to enter the app and choose the “Linked Device” option.
Finally, go to “Multi-Device Beta” and hit the “Exit Beta” button. After you do that, you will go back to the old method, which depended on your mobile phone, knowing that this solution will only be temporary.
