Snapshots from old ringFromSoftware’s upcoming action RPG that the studio considers the spiritual heir to Dark Souls has been leaked online. According to reporter Jeff Grubb, the gameplay was recorded on the base Xbox One console. The footage doesn’t show anything too significant, though based on the character’s jumps in gameplay, it looks like players will be able to jump Elden Ring more easily than most previous FromSoftware games.
It’s important to treat leaks with caution, though based on the game’s leaked visual location, it’s very likely that the leak is real because the environment matches the castles, forests, and green skies seen in the official images. You can see the leaked images below:
If the leak is real, this is the first time we’ve seen an Elden Ring game outside of official trailers.
