(Persia Digest) – The Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) has said: “We have carried out all the preparations ordered by the Supreme Leader to reach a 190 thousand SWU capacity. This includes the construction of an advanced centrifuge assembly line and its installations.”
Ali-Akbar Salehi pointed out that 15 thousand engineers are working in Iran’s atomic energy sector, saying: “We have crossed the thresholds of exploration, extraction, design of reactors and centrifuges, and heavy water in the nuclear industry.”
He stated that the process of construction of the Arak reactor has slowed down with the pressures of the President of the United States, adding: “We want to tell them that our work will progress if they choose to continue this trend and we have a number of options open to us.”
