(Persia Digest) – The Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra will go on stage 28 February and 1 March 2019 in Bratislava under the baton of Ali Rahbari – Iranian musician and conductor.
The repertoire for the concert includes the 1812 Overture, Symphony No 4 by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's, and the Piano Concerto by Aram Ilidk Khachaturian.
The Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra soloist at the concert will be Ladislav van Sovitz from Slovakia.
Ali Rahbari began his collaboration with the Czech Philharmonic 39 years ago after he received the gold medal at the International Besançon Competition for Young Conductors (France) and he was immediately invited by the Slovak Philharmonic.
In 1985, the Czech Ministry of Culture awarded him the Antonín Leopold Dvořák medal (19th-century Czech composer of late Romantic music) which is only given to top performers of his music.
Ali Rahbari is known as Alexander. He has conducted 120 orchestras worldwide and recorded around 250 albums of world classical music with the most famed orchestras and opera houses. He is a well-known figure of Iranian music.
