(Persia Digest) – An exhibition of selected works by contemporary Iranian artists opened in Malaysia yesterday by Ali-Mohammad Sabeghi, Iranian cultural attaché, and a number of dignitaries from the arts and culture scene of Iran.
The exhibition is entitled “The signature of Iranian art”. It has been organized by the Secretariat of Iran-Malaysia business opportunities. Over 60 works by 30 visual artists, including paintings and sculptures, have been showcased here.
These include works by Esrafil Shirchi, Asadollah Kiani, Maneli Manuchehri, Farah Osuli, Ghodratollah Agheli, Bita Vakili, Ali Shirazi, and Mitra Kavian.
These works had been showcased in Malaysia on two occasions earlier. The first instance was in 2017, in association with the Secretariat of Iran-Malaysia business opportunities and the Ministry of Culture. Selected works from the first expo were showcased at the Art Expo Malaysia.
