(Persia Digest) – At the 16th graduation ceremony of officers of the IR of Iran forces this morning, the Supreme Leader pointed to the evil policies of oppressors aimed at creating instability and insecurity in the region, stressing: “The Islamic Republic and people of Iran have stood up to America and proved that if a nation is not afraid of furies by bullies, it can drive world powers back and defeat them by having confidence in its own capabilities.”

Ayatollah Khamenei called Iranians the flag-bearers of freedom and justice in the world, adding: “All nations love justice, but have no way of expressing their wish for freedom from the claws of oppressors. In such a world, the IR of Iran and the Iranian people express their resistance to cruelty and arrogance in plain language without any concealment and this is the main cause of hostility by the oppressors towards the great Iranian nation.”

About the insecurity and instability of various regions of the world, especially West Asia, he added: “Oppressors led by America see their interests in starting civil wars, growing terrorist activities, and regional conflicts. Unfortunately, certain regional countries are also their allies in this.”

He reiterated: “For forty years, Iran has been the target of destructive actions by America and its allies. But now, it has grown from a small seedling to a big, fruitful tree. Despite all the evil plans of the oppressors, it has absorbed nations’ hearts with the message of its revolution and defeated regional American conspiracies.”

The Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces finished by recommending: “As Quranic verses say add to your strength as much as you can, for it will scare your enemy and force it to retreat.”
