(Persia Digest) - Following the 2019 Asian Karate Championships and Karate1 Premier League, the latest ranking of the World Karate Federation (WKF) was released, as 7 Iranians ranked among the top 10 in the world.
Zabihollah Poursheyb, Iran's national team captain, ascended to the 4th place after winning a gold medal at the Asian Championship and 2 silver medals at Japan and Chile World Leagues, according to the world ranking update.
Sara Bahnimar also ascended to the 9th place after winning a gold medal at the Japan World League. Taravat Khaksar and Hamideh Abbasali secured the 7th and the 8th places after winning gold medal at the Asian Championship.
Bahman Asgari after winning 2 bronze medals at the Asian Karate Championships in Uzbekistan and Karate1 Premier League in Japan, and Sajad Ganjadeh with the bronze medal at the Asian Championships in Uzbekistan, ascended to the 2nd and the 3rd places, respectively.
