The eleventh anniversary of Barakat Foundation
It has been eleven years since the establishment of Barakat Foundation, and over the years, one of its most important activities has been the establishment of schools in deprived areas of Iran, although there are still deprived areas in Iran that do not have schools.
International scientists travel to Iran
Over the past eleven months, 230 foreign scientists have traveled to Iran to expand scientific cooperation with this country. Speaking at the Iran-German Science Day at the University of Science and Technology in Tehran, Hossein Salar-Amoli said: “Over the past eleven months, 230 scientists from Germany, Austria, Italy, and China have traveled to Iran for extensive scientific cooperation.”
Health Ministry concludes 150 projects with Germany
The Research Deputy at the Ministry of Health and Education has announced the conclusion of over 150 research projects with Germany, and said: “Most of the joint projects to be conducted with the German Ministry of Health are cancer research projects.”
Dr med, Deputy Malekzadeh, added: “The Ministry of Health has conducted many joint research programs with Germany over the years and a number of the 22 scientific research projects reviewed at the Science Day ceremony also belong to the Ministry of Health.”
Khwarizmi Award acknowledges 15 projects
The 31st Khwarizmi International Award closing ceremony was held on Thursday 25 February 2018 in the presence of President Hassan Rouhani. Researchers of the top ten projects conducted in Iran and five conducted overseas in Australia, China, Germany, France, and Switzerland were acknowledged at the ceremony.
Iran ready to tender million dollar projects
Iran’s Deputy Minister of Economy has announced Iran is ready to put million dollar projects to tender for foreign investment. As reported by Mehr News Agency from a meeting at the Paris conference, Mohammad Khazaei held talks with the Head of the “Mouvement des entreprises de France (MEDEF)”, or the "Movement of the Enterprises of France", Yves-Thibault de Silguy, and over thirty representatives from leading French companies.
Total opens shop in Iran
With the approval of work permits for the Total staff, the company has officially begun work in Iran.
