At a meeting with the Managing Director of Ziraat Bankası of Turkey, the Managing Director of the Melli Bank of Iran announced: “Cash cards are due to be issued for use between our two countries.”
My Mother Iran performed in Antalya
(Persia Digest) – Iranian composer and conductor, Ali Rahbari, has staged his symphonic poem “My Mother Iran” in Turkey. The concert was performed in Antalya on Friday by the Antalya State Symphonic Orchestra who had also extended an official invitation to Hossein Alizadeh to go to Turkey.

Rouhani, Putin, Erdogan stress cooperation in Syria
The presidents of Iran, Russia, and Turkey have issued a joint statement following the Ankara Summit hosted by President Erdogan, reiterating their commitment to achieving lasting ceasefire in Syria and protecting civilians. They pointed out that the Astana talks had been the only effective international initiative for keeping the Syrian crisis in check and reducing violence and that they would continue their determined cooperation in the country, rejecting separatist goals that seek to undermine Syria's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the security of the neighboring countries.
Rouhani and Zarif in Ankara
Iranian President, Hassan Rouhani, landed in Ankara last night at the head of a delegation for trilateral talks on Syria. Iran’s top diplomat, Javad Zarif, had arrived in Ankara earlier heading a separate delegation.
Turkish company investment in Izeh Petrochemicals
An MoU has been signed between Khuzestan Province Governorate, southwestern Iran, and the Turkish Gama Enerji company. At the signing ceremony, Turkish Gama Enerji representative acting on behalf of the CEO relayed his company’s interest in investing in Khuzestan, and said: “Our company began its activities in Iran 18 months ago and we have been interested in making a large investment here.”
Farda Gallery at Ankara Art Fair
Farda Art Gallery will be introducing the works of five young artists at the Ankara Art Fair from 14-18 March 2018. The fair takes place in the Turkish capital, Ankara, every year. Farda Gallery will be representing the works of painters Nezar Mousavinia, Ahmad Tak, Maryam Moghaddam, and Kaveh Kavousi at the fair, and also the sculptures of Leila Alikhani.
Iran film week opens in Turkey
Iran film week opened in Turkey on Tuesday 27 February 2018 in association with the Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Fine Arts in Izmir and the Iranian Consulate in Istanbul. At the opening ceremony with a large turnout of Iranian moviegoers, Dr Oğuz Adanir, Chair of Fine Arts, Cinema and Television, University of Dokuz Eylul, said: “Research in the history of Iranian cinema production shows that the industry flourished between 2000 to 2010 with an average of 120 feature films being made every year.”
