(Persia Digest) – Following months of discussions, problems created for the Iranian Hospital of Dubai have been resolved and the hospital owned by the Red Crescent of the IR of Iran has had its permit renewed.
The Iranian Red Crescent issued an announcement stating that the hospital is operating as usual, emphasizing: “The Iranian Hospital of Dubai with around half a century of experience in the UAE has been under constant pressure over the past years to adjust its activities with the laws governing this country. Following an escalation in disagreements and conflict between the two countries, the hospital’s permit was not renewed and the UAE Health Authority blocked insurance services for the hospital. Subsequently, the hospital was faced with numerous difficulties, but intensive talks with the highest authorities and relevant offices in Iran, and increased contacts with UAE authorities these issues have now been resolved and the permit and insurance policies for the hospital renewed.”
The Red Crescent of Iran expressed hope that with increased levels of friendly interactions between the two countries, this well-established hospital will be able to continue its activities in the region.
