(Persia Digest) – Payman Hosseini from Iran has won the title of world's best beach soccer goalkeeper for 2017.
The MVP ceremony took place in the UAE on Saturday night 4 November. Payman Hosseini, goalkeeper and star of the Iranian National Football Team, was chosen as the most valuable goalkeeper for beach soccer in 2017 and took home the Golden Glove.
His goal against the Mexican national team at the World Cup in the Bahamas scored with a fantastic kick was chosen as the world's best goal.
Brazilian coach Gilberto Costa, whose team won the World Cup, became the best coach at the event. Mohammad-Hossein Mir-Shami, former Iranian coach, was also among the three candidates nominated for Best beach soccer coach 2017. The Iranian National Football Team came third place at the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.
