(Persia Digest) - The world body organizing and overseeing cycling events has ranked the Iranian women's national team of mountain bikers as the top team in Asia.
Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) announced that Farank Partoazar the Iranian female cyclist stood at the top of Asian rankings with a three-step improvement.
IRNA reports that Iran's three-member women's team of mountain bikers with 371 scores was ranked as the top team in Asia and 46th in the world.
Iran's men cycling team, according to UCI, with 197 scores were ranked third in Asia, after Japan and Kazakhstan, and 117th in the world.
The overall ranking of Iran in cycling sports is third in Asia and 43rd in the world, according to UCI.
