(Persia Digest) – The Statistics Center of Iran has conducted a study on how families in urban areas pass their time over the course of a day.

The study concludes that “sleep, rest, and personal care” takes up 13 hours and 22 minutes of their time in every 24 hours.

Next is “housework” with 3 hours and 21 minutes, and then “work” with 2 hours and 48 minutes.

“Social media” ranks fourth among the activities of urban Iranian families with 2 hours and 7 minutes.

They spend 1 hour and 3 minutes on “community involvement”.

The rest of their time is spent respectively as 46 minutes on “educational activities”, 15 minutes on “culture and recreation”, and 2 minutes on “volunteer work” every day.
