(Persia Digest) – Iran’s bodybuilding team has won 8 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals, and two overall titles to win the IFBB title in Spain.

The bodybuilding Championships were held in Benidorm, Spain, 9-11 November 2018. Iran’s team won 2 gold and 1 silver in the men’s Classic Physique category, 1 gold and 1 bronze in the men’s Physique, 5 gold and 1 bronze in bodybuilding and two championship titles.

Gold winners were Mojtaba Zar’e (85kgs), Zeinalabedin Mohammadi (90kgs), Morteza Shafi’ei (95kgs), Ali-Akbar Nikbakht (100kgs), and Morteza Roshan (100kgs).

Rouhollah Shokrzadeh (75kgs) won bronze and Hassan Albouali (+100kgs) ranked fourth.

Arman Bashiri won gold in the Physique Category last height class and Farid Shir-Mohammadzadeh won bronze also in Physique class 3.

Farshid Valipour won gold in Classic Physique class 5 and Ali Mojtahedi won silver.

Vahid Badpay and Farshad Valipour won gold and also the overall bodybuilder of all time titles in Classic Physique.

South Korea and Iraq ranked 2nd and 3rd.

The Head of the IFBB Iran Federation, Naser Pouralifard, was also introduced as best IFBB director 2018 in the Benidorm ceremonies.
