(Persia Digest) - The Managing Director of Kish Free Trade Zone (KFTZ) Gholam-Hossein Mozaffari says celebrations, marking the start of the new Iranian year (Norouz), will be held on the southern Kish Island with the attendance of ten countries.

Mozaffari told IRNA that Iran will celebrate the Norouz Festival based on the policy to expand foreign tourism as a KFTZ priority.

Scheduling direct flight to regional states has been among other programs adopted to encourage tourism.

He said direct Baghdad-Kish and Erbil-Kish flights are on agenda of the KFTZ and these have been offered to Kuwait as well.
