(Persia Digest) – The 24th International Children's Theater began work in the historic city of Hamedan on 30 November. One play from Iran and eight plays from abroad have been shown here every day, which has met with a large audience.
Maryam Kazemi is the event Secretary.
The international category includes the plays “Diary of the Ugly Duckling” from Italy, "Mischievous Goat" from Azerbaijan, "Minotaur" from France, “Solo for Two” from Denmark, "Crystal Story" from Russia, "Shin Shan Shu" from Germany, "Little Musician" from South Korea, and "Half an Ear" from Turkmenistan.
“Solo for Two” from Denmark is written by Giacomo Ravicchio and Soren Ovesen, and directed by Giacomo Ravicchio.
"Mischievous Goat" from Azerbaijan is directed by Bahram Osmanov and produced by Lankaran.
"Little Musician" from South Korea is a production of the Asian Culture Center and directed by Kiel Joon Lee. It was shown on Sunday 2 December.
A playwriting workshop by Dr Saeid Asadi, and a Special Teacher Training Workshop by Mahdieh Mahdavi will be held during the festival. A workshop will also be held by Gary Friedman from Germany on practical training for students and mentors.
